Having visited the island several times a year for over 40 years, when my parents bought a small apartment in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca holds a place in my heart.
There are a variety experiences to be had on this enchanting island. From the streets of the cosmopolitan capital Palma, to the striking craggy Tramuntana mountain range, to the inky blue seas and white sandy beaches along the coast.
The accommodation and culinary experiences across the island are wide and varied. With Mallorca being a small island, nothing is inaccessible no matter where you are based.
Mallorca has a richer history than many realise, with influences from the Phoenicians, the Romans, and the Moors.
I continue to holiday to Mallorca every year, and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
